Steak: It's really what's for dinner
Steak is only as good as the cut of meat! treat yourself by buying a good cut. Delmonico or rib-eye makes a great pan fried steak. At least 3/4 lb per person is good too!
you will need the following ingredients:
Steak enough for the amount of persons you are feeding.
2Tbls butter
olive oil
garlic powder
onion powder
salt and pepper
dried parsley
paprika
Italian salad dressing
worchester sauce
soy sauce
Season meat in the following order: Light salt, pepper, garlic and onion powders, paprika, and lastly dried parsley. Pound slightly on both sides after seaoning side. Use fine pound side not flat! Place meat into gallon sized baggie and add the following: 1/2 cup italian dressing, 1 Tbsp each worcester sauce and soy sauce, 1/8 C olive oil. Let marinate at least 1/2 hour, but not more than an hour. Heat pan to med-high, melt butter and drizzle in olive oil. Place meat in pan just before butter starts to brown. Let cook for at least 2-3 min. before turning over you want to get good carmalization to seal in flavor and juice! Cook remaining time til desired doneness. I personally like a good med. rare, but know many do not! Serve with baked potatoes and steamed veggies. enjoy
